Tunes and Such Zine
I learned to DJ on turntables at 6 years old. I didn't grow up to be a cowboy.
My fascination with the material culture of music resulted in a few damaged records almost 20 years ago, and a self published zine today. Music has always been a central part of my relationships. I was raised in a household that valued sharing art, and I am now fortunate enough in adulthood to share my favourite musicians and moments with my loved ones.
The first edition cost three songs.
The first edition celebrated the relational aspect of music documentation, and was only available to those who contributed three recommendations to a shared list which was featured on the back of the zine. While the monthly criteria to obtain a copy since that first edition has been arbitrary, the publication stays true to documenting the tunes and "such" of each month.
